Standing together in solidarity to overcome adversity | CNK rushes to aid the flood‑hit areas of Wuping, Fujian.

On June 16, Wuping County experienced widespread heavy rainfall, with some areas hit by torrential downpours. All 17 townships and subdistricts in the county were severely affected. According to preliminary figures as of 10:00 a.m. on June 19, 85,000 people had been impacted; 378 houses collapsed, and 336 were severely damaged. An additional 11,000 residents were urgently evacuated for safety. Crop damage covered 8,358.96 hectares, while 135 road sections totaling 123.3 kilometers sustained damage, and 158 embankment sites spanning 5.36 kilometers were compromised. Furthermore, 453 communication base stations were damaged, resulting in direct economic losses amounting to RMB 1.973 billion.
