Core Design Specifications: Key Factors for Enhancing Cable Harness Reliability
Precision bending to prevent wire breakage:
Small bending radius: When the ribbon cable is bent, The radius must be ≥5 mm. . An excessively tight bend can subject the internal conductors to excessive stress, making them highly susceptible to breakage.
Preferred bending direction: Prefer the inward-bending method to avoid outward bending. . External bending significantly stretches the wire, reducing the cable’s service life.
Avoid repeated bending: Strictly limit repeated bending operations at the same location, striving for precise positioning in a single pass.
Design Tip: Minor bending-induced damage is often a potential root cause of batch failures.
Securely fastened to eliminate vibration interference:
Vibration during equipment operation is a major threat to cable‑management reliability, often causing poor connector contact and intermittent signal transmission.

Recommended standard: Display data cable length It is strongly recommended to keep it within 10 cm. Short distances are the foundation for high-speed, low-loss transmission.
Special length handling: If structural constraints necessitate the use of a 20–30 cm ribbon cable, Be sure to conduct rigorous batch verification. , to fully verify that signal integrity, stability, and production yield meet the required specifications.
Key considerations: Avoid screen damage and functional limitations.
