At 9:00 a.m. on May 17, the second CNK Electronics Badminton Tournament of 2025 officially kicked off at the Huiyang Jisu Badminton Hall, under the theme “Unity and Collaboration, Standing Out in the Crowd, Keeping the Shuttlecock in Play, Never Giving Up.” All business personnel from the Shenzhen office attended, with General Manager Hong delivering an impassioned pre‑match address that ignited team spirit, emphasizing that “collaboration and a fighting spirit are the core driving forces behind corporate growth.” Following this, the entire team posed for a group photo, capturing a moment of unity. Players from Groups A and B were then assigned to their respective teams via a draw: Group A adopted a fixed‑partner format, while Group B introduced random pairings to heighten the element of suspense. This innovative tournament format has become one of the standout features of this year’s event.
Battling on the Field: A Clash of Offense and Defense, as Legends Vie for the Crown
The tournament employed a group‑stage round‑robin knockout format, with each match played to 21 points, and a points‑based advancement system that tested both players’ skill and endurance. In Group A, “Little Black Brother” and Hong Fangqiong dominated with seamless offensive‑defensive transitions and pinpoint smashes, clinching the championship with an undefeated record. Hong Wenrong and Lele secured second place through steady, reliable play, while Chen Haitao and Qian Jia staged a tactical comeback to claim third. Group B delivered equally fierce competition: He Zhichao and Tian Xuwén emerged as dark horses, defeating top contenders with efficient teamwork to take the title; Zhang Weiwei and Huang Leilei followed closely for runner-up honors, and Li Duan and Fan Zhongwei rounded out the podium with tenacious defense. Meanwhile, the on‑site support team provided unwavering assistance throughout, their cheers and applause blending seamlessly to elevate the event’s atmosphere to its peak.

At the awards ceremony, the first-, second-, and third-place winners received professional rackets, custom‑made racket bags, and branded sports towels, as honor and joy intertwined. This year’s event was not only a stage for competition but also a platform for cross‑departmental collaboration.
